Terms of Service
How working with College Bros actually works: quotes, scheduling, our guarantee, payment, and what happens when Louisiana weather has other plans.
These terms describe how College Bros Outdoor Services, LLC ("College Bros," "we," "us") works with its customers and how this website may be used. By requesting a quote, booking a visit, or having us perform work at your property, you agree to them. We wrote these to be read, not skimmed past, because most of what's here is simply how we'd want to be treated as customers ourselves.
College Bros provides residential and commercial outdoor services across Northeast Louisiana: lawn care and mowing, landscaping, pressure and soft washing, and hardscaping, serving Monroe, West Monroe, Sterlington, Calhoun, Swartz, and Lakeshore.
Quotes Are Estimates Until We See the Property
The numbers on our pricing page and elsewhere on this site are good-faith per-visit estimates, and the exact quote always depends on the property. Lot size, terrain, gates and obstacles, how overgrown the grass is, and the condition of the surfaces being washed all move the price within our published ranges. A quote becomes final only after we have evaluated the property, in person or from photos and details you send, and we confirm it with you before any work begins. You are never obligated to accept a quote, and we don't start work you haven't approved.
Scheduling and Weather
We respond to every inquiry the same day and can usually begin service the same week, but we do not promise exact time slots, because route work and Louisiana weather both refuse to cooperate with rigid schedules. Heavy rain, saturated ground, and lightning make mowing and washing unsafe or counterproductive, and spring storms in Northeast Louisiana can stack up fast. When weather pushes a visit, we reschedule promptly, typically within a few days, and keep you informed rather than leaving you guessing.
Getting Your Property Ready
Help us do our best work: have gates unlocked on service day, keep pets indoors while crews are on site, and pick up items hiding in the grass like hoses, toys, and dog tie-outs. If your property has hazards we can't see, such as shallow irrigation lines, septic components, invisible-fence wire, or unmarked landscape lighting, point them out before the first visit so we can work around them.
Our Guarantee
Our promise is simple: not happy? We'll make it right, guaranteed. If something about a visit isn't up to standard, contact us as soon as you notice, ideally with a photo, and we will return to correct it at no additional charge. We would much rather fix a missed strip of edging this week than lose a neighbor's trust forever.
Payment
We invoice through Housecall Pro, the same platform that handles our scheduling, and payment is due when the work is complete unless we have agreed to other arrangements in writing. Recurring lawn care is billed per visit. If an account falls significantly past due, we may pause scheduled service until it is brought current, and we'll communicate before that happens rather than just not showing up.
Cancellations, Skips, and Recurring Service
Recurring service continues visit to visit until you tell us to pause or stop, and you can do that anytime by calling or texting (318) 600-9123. We just ask that you let us know before the day of your scheduled visit so the crew's route can be adjusted. For one-time projects, tell us as early as you can if plans change; the earlier we know, the easier it is on everyone.
Hardscaping Projects
Hardscaping, including paver patios, walkways, fire pits, and retaining walls, is our newest service and runs differently from route work. Every project begins with a free on-site design consultation, and the scope, price, timeline, and any deposit are set out in a written quote before work starts. Where that written quote differs from these general terms, the written quote controls for that project.
Liability and Insurance
College Bros Outdoor Services, LLC is an insured company. If you believe our crew damaged something, tell us as soon as possible, ideally the same day, and we will assess it honestly and make it right consistent with our guarantee and our insurance coverage. We are not responsible for damage to hazards we could not reasonably know about, including unmarked irrigation heads or lines, unflagged buried wires, or objects concealed in tall grass, nor for pre-existing conditions that cleaning can reveal, such as failing paint, aged wood, loose mortar, or oxidized siding. To the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
Website, Tools, and Content
All content on collegebrosllc.com, including the text, photographs, page designs, and tools like the mulch calculator, is owned by College Bros Outdoor Services, LLC and may not be copied, scraped, or republished without written permission. Our calculators and the AI chat assistant provide general estimates and information only; a price is binding only when our team confirms it in a quote. We sometimes photograph completed work for quality records and marketing, and if you would rather your property not appear anywhere, just say so and we will honor it.
Changes to These Terms
If we change these terms, we will post the updated version here and revise the date at the top. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms, and we will never use an update to dodge a commitment we already made to you on an active job.
Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Questions go to College Bros Outdoor Services, LLC, 4100 Bon Aire Dr, Monroe, LA 71203, email connorpauley@collegebrosllc.com, phone (318) 600-9123.
Service Terms, Answered Straight
Is the price on the College Bros website the final price?
The prices published on collegebrosllc.com are per-visit estimates, and the final quote depends on your specific property: lot size, terrain, access, and condition all matter. College Bros confirms the exact price with you after evaluating the property, in person or from photos, and always before work begins. You approve the number first; there are no surprise charges after the fact.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled service day?
If Northeast Louisiana weather makes the work unsafe or ineffective, such as heavy rain, lightning, or ground too saturated to mow without rutting, College Bros reschedules the visit promptly, typically within a few days, and notifies you of the new plan. You are never charged for a visit that didn't happen, and recurring routes are adjusted so your yard doesn't get skipped twice.
What does the College Bros guarantee actually cover?
The guarantee is exactly what it sounds like: not happy? We'll make it right, guaranteed. If any part of a completed visit isn't up to standard, like a missed section of trimming or streaks on a washed surface, contact College Bros as soon as you notice and the crew returns to correct it at no additional charge. It applies to the quality of the work we performed, judged honestly, neighbor to neighbor.
When and how do I pay College Bros?
Payment is due when the work is complete unless other arrangements were agreed in writing. College Bros sends invoices through Housecall Pro, the same field-service platform that handles scheduling, so you can pay securely online. Recurring lawn care is billed per visit rather than locked into prepaid blocks, and we never ask for payment details over chat, text, or email links.
Is College Bros insured?
Yes. College Bros Outdoor Services, LLC is an insured company, which matters any time a crew is operating mowers, trimmers, and pressure washers around your home. If you believe something was damaged during a visit, report it as soon as possible, ideally the same day with a photo, and we will assess it honestly and make it right through our guarantee and insurance coverage.
Can I skip or cancel a recurring mowing visit?
Yes, anytime. Recurring service with College Bros continues visit to visit until you pause or cancel it, and there is no penalty for stopping. Just call or text (318) 600-9123 before the day of your scheduled visit so the crew's route can be adjusted. Skipping a single visit, switching between weekly and biweekly, or pausing for a season are all routine requests.
Do I have to sign a contract for lawn care with College Bros?
Routine lawn care doesn't require a long-term commitment; service simply continues until you tell us to stop. The exception is larger project work: hardscaping builds like paver patios and retaining walls are defined in a written quote covering scope, price, timeline, and any deposit, which both sides agree to before construction starts. That document protects you as much as it protects us.
